Converge Day Treatment Center is a nonprofit agency, licensed day treatment center, and approved facility school under the oversight of the Department of Human Services and the Colorado Department of Education. We provide an intensive therapeutic day treatment program in a small group, structured educational setting for students in the Northeastern Colorado region.
Children placed in our full-day program will attend school at Converge full-time until they have met their goals and start transitioning back into the regular school setting. Students will attend school for the duration of the school year. Students will also attend a modified summer program for four weeks in the summer as an extended-school year service. Converge also offers a half-day therapeutic program from 12:30 to 2:15, which includes individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and participation in our specials classes and field trips.
Staff includes the program director/psychologist, two full-time special education teachers, teacher assistants, youth treatment counselors, paraprofessionals, two counseling interns and two school psychology doctoral candidates from the University of Northern Colorado. Students in this program are between the ages of 5 and 17.
